Golden Gate Titans vs. Riverview Rams

Riverview Rams Varsity Boys (3-2) defeated the Golden Gate Titans (0-4), 22-1 at Twin Lakes tonight. 13 different Rams found the net, led by Sam Lehrman 4G/2A, Ken Kaiser 3G/2A, and Kevin Southerland 2G/3A, 4 GBs. 🥍Tyler Horiuchi ties the single game, Rams record for groundballs, collecting 10 on the night, to go along with his 6 takeaways and goal!

Palmetto Ridge Bears vs. Riverview Rams

The Riverview Rams Varsity boys played their first home game of the year at Twin Lakes Park against the visiting Palmetto Ridge Bears (Naples). This was the first District matchup for the Rams since being moved to District 12 in the newly realigned FHSAA assignments.  The Rams started off quick, scoring three goals in the first 45 seconds of the game.  The offensive barrage continued, with the Rams scoring a total of sixteen goals in the first half, and with the Bears requesting a running clock in the 3rd quarter, the Rams used their substitutes to score an additional six goals in the 2nd half, and a 22-0 final score.  In all, thirteen different Rams found the back of the net for Riverview, including five Sophomores.  Ken Kaiser led all scorers with 4G/4A.  Blake Quigley, Justin Dorociak and Andrew Dirocco all recorded “hat tricks” with three goals apiece.  Tyler Horiuchi was dominate at faceoff, winning 11 out-of 12, and picked up 7 groundballs. Ray Leffler had 5 groundballs.  As a team, the Rams won 21 of 24 faceoffs.

Joey Powers Memorial Tournament (Lax Against Leukemia)

The 4th Annual Lax Against Leukemia is a pre-season high school lacrosse tournament to raise critical funds for the Joey Powers Leukemia Project. The Joey Powers Leukemia Project’s mission is to support families affected by pediatric leukemia by providing financial, educational and emotional support.
