The Riverview Rams Varsity Boys travelled down to Naples for their first District matchup of the 2021 season.  It was interesting to watch how this game played out in comparison to when these teams met in the district opener last year.  Similar to last year’s game, the Rams scored often in the first half, and went up 13-1.  With a running clock in the 2nd half, the Rams added four more goals and secured their first district win, 17-1.

Senior attacker, Blake Quigley led all scorers with 7 points (4G/3A). A total of nine Rams contributed to the scoring.  Defensively, Senior Tyler Horiuchi and the Benitez brothers (George and Solano) collected a total of 23 groundballs for Riverview.  Tyler Horiuchi, Dylan Alexander and Solano Benitez combined to win 15 out-of 16 face-offs.
