Sarasota, FL – This first semi-final game of the 2017 District Playoffs matched the Cardinal Mooney Cougars against the St. Stephen’s Falcons. Using many of their backups, the Cougars were still able to move the ball around quite effectively, scoring 23 goals off 12 assists. Freshmen Michael Bavaro was the Cougars offensive standout with nine points (5 Goals / 4 Assists). Cardinal Mooney will face Riverview on April 6 for the District Championship. The Cougars have won the District Championship for the past three years.
