The Riverview Rams Varsity Boys opened their 2018 season on the road against the brand new lacrosse program at Lakewood Ranch High School. The Rams jumped out to an early 10-2 lead in the first half, and closed out the game in the 4th quarter with a running clock, 15-4. Fourteen different Rams contributed to the scoring, with Senior, Clark Flessner leading all players with 4 points (3 goals & 1 assist). The Rams controlled the faceoffs, with a 65% possession advantage using four different players. Junior midfielder, Jake Lehrman was a standout all over the field, with five groundballs, four-for-five on faceoffs and a goal.
The Mustangs, who are playing their first season as an FHSAA “Independent,” are led by head coach, Jason Morales.
