The Riverview Rams (6-5, 3-1) Varsity Girls traveled to the Out-of-Door-Academy (4-6, 0-2), on a rainy Friday night and came away with a decisive, 21-10 victory over the Thunder. Six different Rams contributed to the scoring barrage, with Junior Chloe “CC” Hackl scoring a career high, 7 goals, and Seniors Susan Lowther and Alexandra Hernandez netting 5 and 4 goals, respectively. Lowther also assisted on 6 of the goals for Riverview, putting her season point total at 86, which is the highest in the state, based on MaxPreps’ Florida rankings for Division 2. Junior Caroline Steinwachs nabbed 15 draw control wins for the Rams, in a game where the Rams won 77% of the draws (27-for-35).
