The Riverview Rams (5-8, 1-1) hosted the #6 ranked lacrosse team in FHSAA 1A, Community School of Naples (CSN) Seahawks (11-2, 1-0) at the Ram Bowl on Friday night. As it goes with most lacrosse games, the key to winning typically starts at the faceoff circle. With CSN, they have a faceoff specialist, freshmen Isaac Lyon, who was able to go 13-for-17 (76%) on the night, which led to a lot of offensive possessions for CSN. As a result, the Seahawks soared to a 12-5 victory, behind 4 goals by senior Ramsey Higgins, 3 goals by senior Chase Atterbury and 2 goals by sophomore Luke Hegarty. Riverview’s scoring was led by junior Danny Walker, who scored 2 goals.
Senior Will Leffler had 12 saves on 24 shots for the Rams.
