The Riverview Rams (4-4, 0-1) hosted the Bishop Verot Vikings (7-1) at the Ram Bowl on Thursday night. The Vikings made quick work of the Rams by jumping out to a commanding, 14-0 lead at halftime. With a running clock in play for the entire second half, Bishop Verot closed out the game with a 17-1 victory. Riverview’s sole goal was scored about 3 1/2 minutes into the 3rd quarter when sophomore Jack Yochim found senior Lucien Minford in the front of the crease for the Ram score.
Ten different Vikings contributed to the scoring for Bishop Verot, with junior Trey Toscano scoring 5 goals, and sophomore Jake Rodriguez and senior Brayden Tooley each scoring 3 goals. Bishop Verot’s FOGOs went 14-for-21 on faceoffs (66%).
