Playing their second of four games on the road, the Riverview Rams Varsity Boys (7-2) extended their winning streak to four games with an 11-9 victory, in a non-district matchup, against the Berkeley Prep Buccaneers (4-6) in Tampa. The teams played to a 6–6 tie in the first half, but it was the Rams’ tenacious defense in the 2nd half that secured the win for Riverview, holding the Bucs to only 3 goals.
Senior Kevin Southerland led all Ram scorers with 5 points (4G/1A). Will Leffler had 11 saves in goal.
Berkeley’s Seniors Reid Mazzuco (5G) and Jack Tyler Bono (3G/2A) were the leading scorers for the Bucs.
