vs Cardinal Mooney (Senior Night)

SARASOTA — Riverview’s Cole Hautamaki scored three goals for the Rams and Chris Mercandetti, Jesse Clark and Spencer Brooks each added two goals. Doc Drewett was a standout defenseman with 10 ground balls and two takeaways. Goalkeeper Josh Cortman had 13 saves but it was not enough to stop the relentless attack by Cardinal Mooney, who prevailed 16-11 at the Ram Bowl.

The Cougar’s MJ McMahon scored six goals and had four assists and Senior attackman Reagan Griffith scored one goal and had five assists while junior attackman Patrick Warren scored three goals for Cardinal Mooney (12-5).  Zack Del Medico was a standout at faceoff for the Cougars.

SARASOTA — Cardinal Mooney High swept past host Riverview High at the Ram Bowl, led by Caroline Kenefick with seven goals.

Teammates Raquel Cartaya and Lane Hogan each added one goal for Cardinal Mooney (9-4) while Veronica McCurdy scored four goals and had three assists. Sarah Nelson added two goals and one assist. Maggie Sorensen finished out with one goal and four assists, and Noel Turner added two assists.

For Riverview, Melissa Galmin, Zayda Fredericks and Lindsay Kaighin each scored two goals in their final game of the regular season.

vs Tampa Catholic

Sarasota, FL – Juniors Cole Hautamaki and Jesse Clark each scored six goals for the Rams tonight, as Riverview rolled over the Tampa Catholic Crusaders 20-11, for their seventh win a row. Freshmen Spencer Brooks had four goals and three assists, Sophomore Clark Flessner had three goals and two assists.  Freshmen Dusty Hibbs also scored for the Rams.  The first half ended with the Rams holding a slight 6-5 lead, but the Rams’ eight third quarter goals sealed the win for Riverview, who remain undefeated in the Ram Bowl.

Jesse Clark’s 11 points (6G/5A) set the single-game record for most points in a game by a Ram.

vs Port Charlotte High School

Sarasota, FL – The Boys Varsity team won their sixth straight game, with eleven different Rams contributing goals in their 19-2 win over the visiting Pt. Charlotte Pirates in the Ram Bowl.  Junior Cole Hautamaki led the scoring with three goals, along with Jesse Clark with two goals and four assists.  Zach Jekonski, Ryan Dezzi, Evan Goff, Ronnie Saba and Devin Serino also had two goals apiece.  Chris Mercandetti, Clark Flessner, Julian Lowenstein and Spencer Brooks also scored.  Senior Josh Cortman was a standout between the pipes for the Rams, allowing only one goal.

The Pirates received their scoring from Seniors Damien Chanfrante (LSM) and Kaine Mackie.
