Tryouts/Practice for the 2023 Season will take place on the practice field at Riverview.
MONDAY, JANUARY 23 – FRIDAY, JANUARY 27
BOYS: Tryouts for ALL players will be Monday and Tuesday at 3:00PM and will be helmets and gloves only. On Wednesday, players will split up into two (2) squads, Varsity and JV (both teams will practice with FULL pads). Any players needing to borrow equipment should arrive at 2:30PM.
On Thursday and Friday (and Monday through Friday during the regular season), JV will practice from 2:30-4:30 and Varsity will practice from 3:00-5:00.
GIRLS: Tryouts for ALL players will be Monday – Friday from 4-6 pm. Players should bring an awesome attitude, water, running shoes and cleats (not required) every day. Players will be split into 2-3 groups and will be running the timed 3 mile run on either Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. Players should bring goggles and sticks (if you do not have this equipment, loaner equipment is available) but you MUST bring your own mouthguard.
During the regular season, practices for ALL Girls will be 4-6 for both JV and Varsity.
VERY IMPORTANT!! – Please follow the instructions on our “ATHLETIC CLEARANCE” page for required player athletic clearance and documents. NO PLAYERS WILL BE ELIGIBLE TO TRYOUT WITHOUT SUBMITTING A COMPLETE “ATHLETIC CLEARANCE” PRIOR TO TRYOUTS.
