The Riverview Rams (3-2) Varsity Boys hosted the Manatee Hurricanes (1-4) in a non-district matchup on Tuesday evening in the Ram Bowl. The teams played to a 4-4 tie in the first half, and the second half remained a close game, as well, with the teams tied at the start of the 4th quarter. With only 3:49 remaining in regulation, junior midfielder Brandon Day scored what would be the game-winner for the Rams. Day would finish the game with a goal and assist. Riverview’s scoring was led by sophomores Jack Yochim (2G/1A) and Toby West (1G/2A), each with 3 points. In total, six different Rams would contribute to the scoring. In goal, senior Will Leffler had a strong night with 9 saves.
