A late schedule add, the Riverview Rams Varsity Girls (6-4-1) were host to the Gulf Coast Sharks (8-6) at the Ram Bowl. Lacrosse is game of possession, and the success of Riverview’s Freshman, Susan Lowther at the draw circle was probably the largest contributor to the Rams’ success in the game. Lowther individually won 13 of the 19 draws she was involved in during the game, and along with her five goals, the Rams were able to defeat the Sharks, 14-7. Alexis Whitmore had the hat trick with 3 goals. Caroline Reilly scoured the field for 4 groundballs and forced a turnover, as well.
Gulf Coast’s Peyton Davidson directly contributed to 6 out of the 7 goals for the Sharks, with 5 goals and 1 assist.
