New to District 17, but not new to lacrosse, the Calvary Christian Warriors came to the Ram Bowl on Monday night for the first matchup between the two teams. The Rams jumped ahead early with a barrage of goals against the Warriors, taking a 15-3 lead into halftime. With a running clock starting the 2nd half, the Rams were able to score nine more times, finishing the game with a 24-5 win. 14 different Rams scored goals, led by Ethan Schwab (4G/1A), Finn Johnson (4G), Josh Clark (3G/1A), Saxton Dunlap (2G), Justin Clark (2G), and Jake Lehrman (1G/1A). Eight other players also scored for the Rams, including our defensemen, Nate Hines and Connor Sinclair. Rhys McRobb won 14 out of his 16 faceoffs (87%).
Calvary Christian High School is a ministry of Calvary Baptist Church located in Clearwater, Florida. It is a coeducational, college preparatory school of 508 students in grades 9-12.
